Kutafuta Uhuru (2019)

Uhuru and Cordelia have a lot on their plate this time round, especially with senior management putting even more pressure on Mr Ninan than before! ‘Kutafuta Uhuru’ builds upon the themes of ‘Finding Uhuru’. Once again, the characters speak both English and Swahili and they encourage the audience to do the same. There are two versions of this play, one for Secondary school children, and one for Primary school children. The content differs depending on the age of the children, with an emphasis on the moral questions at the heart of the story, which for both age groups, are identical: identity, bravery and loyalty.
